April 11 – 20. These nine days left a big memory in my heart. Erasmus+ project titled “Impropreneurs” took place in Poland, little Poronin village. Impropreneurs is the educational and cultural project, which contains impact of theatre and puts a mark in a subject of youth entrepreneurship. Project`s main objective was to encourage young people to practice on their work and life balance, lead their own path through theatre improvisation activities. The project aimed at improving participants’ skills and competences, fostering active participation in social life of local communities and people with fewer opportunities, multiplication of the results achieved by project, promotion of Erasmus+ and other.
The trip to the destination from Lithuania was a little exhausting, but the entire group made it until dinner. The rest of the evening we were exploring our living space.
The next days we have started our activities and getting to know other participants. There were almost 30 participants so it wasn`t easy to remember all the names at once, but the project organizers had a lot of ways to make it easier. Immediately we started to make friends with everybody. Project leader had a lot of fun and interesting games and exercises. Exercises included both teamwork and solo-work, sharpened my English language and communication skills made lots of laughs and some serious thinking. With the improv exercises, I`ve learned to easily express myself even without any words.
In addition, we explored Poland. Getting to know Poronin was really fun, because we did it while playing a group game, in which we had to do some amusing tasks.

Also, we went to Zakopane city. It was a nice, peaceful city with some nice view of the Tatra mountains. Our time there just flew by like a minute.

The biggest trip, however, was the Tatra Mountains. We travelled by bus to the beginning of the park and walked a very nice road to a lake in the mountains, called Morske Oko.
This was my first time in the mountains, so I was very excited. Some participants and I went a very challenging way up to Czarny Staw pod Rysami, which was another lake, but a lot higher. I will never forget this snowy climb.

To help learn about other countries, we had intercultural nights. Every day participants from each country did their deed to show others about their culture, food, habits, speech and some history. It was very fun and I learned a lot about Poland, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and Portugal. We, Lithuanian group, also introduced our little country.

To sum up, the project was very organized and clear, food and accommodation were great and activities were interesting. I have made a lot of friends, tried some new things and learned a lot. My English and my social skills have improved as well. I have visited a lot of new and beautiful places. This was a perfect experience for me!
Very good article and nice experience ! 🙂
