Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange “Stage Of Friendship” – a wonderful collaboration between Lithuanians and Polish guys. During the project, we experienced many different activities from the trip to the mountains, visit to the waterpark, the parade of improvisation games and educational presentation of both Poland and Lithuania. Although we wishfully took part in all activities, the most memorable one for me was the final performance.
It was the representation of the whole week’s work. We had the chance to express ourselves, build our characters on stage, forget the reality and give in to the wonderful world of theatre. Each short play was better than each other, but the most important thing was that we enjoyed ourselves. Not being professional actors, we were grateful for this eye-opening experience. What’s more, after the welcoming show, we had the chance to embrace the spirit of the project. As we sat by the fireplace, ate grilled sausages and traditional cheese, we bounded together, strengthened our connections, reviewed the project, shared our personal experiences, talked about our county’s history, tried to find similarities and so on. The panorama of mountains, small houses, and wonderful woods added and completed the experience.
All in all, the final performance was the peak of the project. And what came after that was truly the Stage Of Friendship.
