Hello, I’m Gerard, I’m Spanish, and it is a pleasure to be in Lithuania.
I’m here for a program called Erasmus+, in Vilnius and I’ll be for two months where I am doing practices of my studies and I think it is a unique opportunity.
The centre of Vilnius is very nice and cozy; you can go walked from one place to another.
Vilnius is near a town called Trakai, where a beautiful castle, it is obligatory to visit.
The only negative thing is the weather, is very variable, and I’m from Southern Europe costs me more.
But I recommend visiting Lithuania.

The castle was built and founded by Gediminas in 1320 as defending Fortaleza and later, during the fourteenth century, it became the residence of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania but also it Use as a prison until the seventeenth century.
Currently and since 1962 Trakai houses a museum where you can see some art collections, numismatics and furniture and learn more about the history of the Castle of the Dukes and the habitants of Trakai.
