Yesterday we went to the forest next to Belarus to plant a lot of trees, we woke very early and leave at 8 to go there, the Travel lasted 1 hour and something. It was very sunny and warm so it put me in a good mood!
We walked a little to the main point, we waited a few minutes because more people were coming, then they started to introduce the project and then give us some instructions and finally, they taught us how to correctly plant the tree. After that we picked a bucket with a lot of plants and a shovel, we chose our spot and began to plant.
In the beginning, it was really hard to make the hole with the shovel but we got experienced and actually, I was enjoying it very much.
We had to plant in the lines because in that way we had it organized, it took two hours to plant only one, but we finished our bucket, and we got help so it was a little bit faster and not to be so tiring.
For me it’s something new, I have never done that and I would repeat it because I liked helping the earth and I felt good doing it with my friends here, so it feels pretty good to try new things.
I’m happy that I have my trees here, it’s like having my mark here. I’m still surprised how many people were here, we all finished our buckets so it means we planted a lot of trees.
It was tiring at the end, but then they got us food and something to drink, and after that lunch, I was ready to take a nap.
My friends say that they loved doing this to help the environment and felt happy about it even though they were tired after all that work, so I feel like that too. I recommend it to everyone it’s a beautiful experience and for someone, it can be therapeutic.
