I would like to share with you my experiences and impressions of youth exchange “Sports is all aroud us“.
This was my first exchange, so at first I was a little bit afraid, I did not know how things would go. Exchange began with a journey, we all together, young people from Lithuania, went to Tenzyn city in Poland. We did not know each other, so the journey passed fast and fun as we tried to get to know each other.
When we came to a small town which is called Tenzyn, we were set up in a very beautiful place, surrounded by the mountains.
People participating in this youth exchanges were from 5 different countries: Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Lithuania. This was an invaluable experience to meet so many different people in one place. All people in these exchanges were friendly, open, it was not difficult to find a topic to talk to everyone.
In these exchanges I was impressed mostly when we had a trip to Krakow and the Tatra Mountains. It was two-days trip which brought a lot of excitement. When we were in Krakow we received a variety of tasks, while implementing them we had a opportunity to see the most beautiful city places. Time had passed unnoticed. However, the Tatra Mountains was something unique, I would never have believed that Poland has such a nice place. In the mountains we spent the whole day, we climbed 9 hours, it was really demanded our strength, but the beautiful images and photos redeemed everything.
While this is was my first exchange, I can not compare them with others, but I really enjoyed this experience. It was not boring and monotonous, every day we did something new and fun. We did not need to sit near the table half a days and write something. All the activities which we had were very active. Therefore, we all were comming to the classes cheerful and energetic.
Finally, I would like to say that these exchanges provide a wonderful opportunity to see another country’s the most beautiful places, meet wonderful people, improve foreign language skills, learn new things, gain new experience. Therefore, I wish you all to have the opportunity to travel to youth exchanges and return home with the most memorable experience.
