Totally hippies – it is a nomination, which my friend from Lithuania and me got the last day of project ,,Training Of Trainers and Active Leaders. TOTAL basic“. I think, we got it because we really spent time very good and very productive, and organisers saw it, and recorded it. Our travel started in Lithuania when we got an invitation from youth organisation Inovacijų biuras (Innovation Office). On one beautiful September day we took a bus and went first to Wroclaw. The trip lasted about 16 hours. Then we spent a day there and in the evening project shuttle bus took us and our new friends from different countries to our training course, which was in the little and very beautiful Krzyzowa Village. So, we had opportunity to see and explore three beautiful places – impressive Wroclaw, fabulous Krzyzowa and lovely Swidnica, where we spent a half day during project.

All the time of the project we were creating universal totality – it mean that we tried took everything totally, we tried to be maximum motivated, and to be totally who we are. Our activities were interesting and requiring creativity: we made costumes of our organisations and represented it in fashion show, we had culture evenings to get known each other better, we had possibility to taste a lot of different national food and drinks, we shared stories next to the fire and also did barbecue, singed songs together in the moonlight, we created theatre and performances, which included us to speak about global problems, we counted all the windows of Krzyzowa complex, communicated with locals, we learned each other languages, played variety games and just have been together.
By the way, all the days were full of challenges and adventures. We became totally trained like very strong trainers, which could work with young people or children in our communities in the future. All the time we learnt in non-formal methods, we gained experiences from our project trainers, which were examples for us. We are very proud of this chance to be in this area. Sure, we also learnt from each other, because we had occasion to meet very interesting new friends from 14 countries. It was one of the best part of the project, because we had very important lessons speaking about stereotypes, which should be broken, we saw differences and also found similarities of our humanity.
For the conclusion I want to say that Erasmus+ is not just opportunity to collect YouthPass, it is opportunity to create your total and unique personality, to collect more memories, more experience, more knowledges, more friends, more moments, which makes you stronger, which makes you more emphatic, more friendly, you also could become more aware and smart, more understanding person, and it mean – more or totally awesome! I always feel very grateful for every moment in my life when I found something new, because new things are always changing and extending my consciousness.
