Often, people who know how to make handcrafts produce them in their spare time and do not have the necessary knowledge or skills to turn this hobby into a business that would generate financial benefits. Here is a very effective solution – a set of Erasmus+ project “F2F-Trust: Micro-Entrepreneurship Supportive Mentoring System Development for Women with fewer Opportunities in Rurals” educational materials and the opportunity to participate in the project mentorship programme!
The aim of the “F2F-Trust” (Female to Female Trust) project is to improve the daily skills of using mobile phones/tablets, focusing on women who make handicrafts. These women are the main target group of “F2F-Trust” project. Women from this target group will be mentored and supported by relatively more experienced mentors. It is the mentors who are the secondary target group of the project.
The methodological material prepared during the project for both target groups is already available on the official F2F-Trust website http://f2f-trust.eu/
As the project is expected to attract not only older people but also young women, who are making handicrafts, the project’s educational material can be analyzed not only via the official website, but also by downloading the “F2F-Trust” mobile app, which can be found on the “Google Play” store.
The process of mentoring is one of the best possible solutions for both target groups – mentees and mentors. It is a more effective way to combine work and personal life, to transfer the accumulated knowledge and experience to a person who wants to improve his/her productivity. Thus, by highlighting the fact that mentors are aware of the specific aspects faced by women micro-entrepreneurs and have the opportunity to be involved in the process of sharing knowledge and experience, F2F-Trust is a useful win-win model for both participating target groups, which are the final beneficiaries.
