Exchange. In my opinion, youth exchange is always a good choice for young people. Lets talk about Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange project “Stage of Friendship ” held in Poland, I have to mention some really big advantages, which I saw in the project. Young people from Poland and Lithuania had to communicate with each other, exchange knowledge and be friendly. I personally found some good friends and met a lot of interesting and unique personalities, who showed me a new way of thinking. That week was short , but we did so much, so it is really hard to pick only three things , which I loved the most.
Firstly, I have to mention improvisation games. For ages people have known that games helped to communicate and leave the comfort zone . We tried a lot of different types of improvisation games. For example, some of them helped us to get to know each other, and showed our imagination skills. While playing and having, a good time we saw our strong and weak points. Everything ended with our grand show, which was small, but sweet and we felt safe like at home. Secondly, I would love to mention the aquapark. After hard preparation for the grand show it was really nice to relax . Teenagers let themselves to loosen up, played in the kid’s section and laughed. Last but not least, activity was hiking in mountains. We went there while the weather was boiling hot, but it didn’t kill our spirit and mood. We enjoyed a wonderful view, made photos and saw waterfall. Students felt exhausted but still sang, made jokes and had fun.
By communication teens explored a new culture , found a new way of thinking and of course learned about everyday problems ,which we hadn’t thought about before. It was a chance to find ourselves as different kind of people and I feel really happy for this given opportunity.
